We are proud to be a local Sheffield company, employing a fast-growing local team. Our network currently reaches over 20,000 homes and businesses and our build is expanding rapidly.
Our Story
We started building broadband networks in 2015 with the goal of freeing communities from the poor speeds, slow customer service and high prices of the major telecommunication giants.
How We Do It
By installing our own full fibre across South Yorkshire we are able to deliver ultra-fast Fibre To The Premises (FTTP), often where other providers can't.
When we reach your road, you may see us working on BT telegraph poles and ducts. We tend to use these to reduce the amount of digging required. If you sign up, we usually install your new fibre cable in the same way as your BT copper phone line: either overhead or underground through existing ducting. Your BT line is unaffected and can even operate at the same time as your new FTTP service.

The customer service team are very friendly and helpful. We had a slight delay in our service getting activated but a team was on-site each day it was down to help, and were able to resolve it quickly. Well priced for the speeds available too!
Great, reliable service
Always very helpful when I've had queries but more importantly in the 3 years with PineMedia there's been maybe one outage / issue… a far cry from our precious provider! Very reliable for working remotely.
Mostly great service
Really great customer service and prices are fair. Only negative is that the wifi has somewhat regular cases where it drops out, particularly in the evenings. Mostly really good though.

Our broadband cable was damaged by animals, and we were left totally disabled! Pine media were immediately contactable and gave me the earliest appointment to have it replaced. The repair was managed swiftly and the engineer was really knowledgeable and kind. He cleaned up afterwards and did a really great job. Even better the cost was included in my monthly fee. I am so pleased with the service we receive!
Online within an hour of ordering
The customer service was excellent, all my questions were answered quickly via live chat and I was able to pick up a router and be online within an hour of placing my order. The connection has been very fast and the app makes it easy to set up and monitor the WiFi.

Sadly having to leave Pine as I'm about to move to an area not serviced by them but if you are able to get Pine I would highly recommend them, they've been very helpful during the year and the broadband operates at a good speed also, I remember it being very quick and easy to set up as well, my router was already at the property and took me 5 minutes to get online. Chelsea from Pine Media has also been brilliant both when helping us set up a year ago, and also helping us with closing our account now that we are leaving

Faultless Internet Connection
Been with Pine Media for 2 years now and not had a single issue. I've jut renewed for another 2 years at a lower price than I could find at all the major suppliers. I am on the 100Gig full fibre connection and it's the first internet connection I've had that's been faultless for the whole 2 years.
